Our comprehensive hybrid program combines online education with extensive in-person training, giving you the knowledge, clinical skills, and confidence to safely and effectively work with pelvic floor patients.
You’ll learn anatomy, palpation, treatment strategies, pelvic floor acupuncture and dry needling techniques, and how to apply everything in real clinical situations. Just as importantly, we cover the communication, consent, draping, ethics, and treatment-room etiquette that are essential when working with this patient population.

Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions encompass a number of recalcitrant, painful, and difficult to treat conditions for which there are few options for treatment. While Acupuncture is one of the few treatments out there that can truly help resolve pelvic floor pain and dysfunction. There are very few Acupuncturists who specialize in treating pelvic floor disorders, and even fewer trained to do so. Dr. Jamie Hampton, DAOM, L.Ac. is changing that by offering her seminars.
Full Biography
Dr. Jamie Hampton has been dry needling since 2006 and specializing in pelvic floor since 2009. She is a doctoral graduate of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the oldest TCM school in the US. Jamie worked in leading San Francisco Bay Area hospitals for the last 18 years with an emphasis on true integration and collaboration within fast-paced clinical settings, including the ICU. While she was an adjunct professor through the University of California, San Francisco, she also had the privilege of teaching grand rounds to medical students. This experience blossomed into a faculty position at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medical College in Berkeley, CA, where she taught advanced needling technique, gynecology, and advanced formula writing. This solidified her love of teaching and connecting with her students, conveying the power of TCM and all its abilities. She was also co-founder of Golden Leaf Acupuncture in Berkeley, CA, which was University of California Berkeley’s leading provider for students as well as faculty and staff.
Having discovered a total lack of treatment options for pelvic floor pain (including acupuncture), Dr. Hampton made it her mission to specialize in helping these patients. She has treated pelvic floor patients since 2009.
