Course Description
This 3-day, 20-hour seminar is designed to develop the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to safely, effectively, and confidently implement dry needling for the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction of the upper and lower body.
This class will build on the practitioner’s existing needling skills, providing further instruction in palpation and advanced needling techniques to increase patient outcomes, increase safety and confidence, and reduce negative side-effects of dry needling.
The course emphasizes manual palpation to accurately identify target tissues and needling skills that improve the practitioner’s treatment outcomes.
A strong focus is placed on safety, including anatomical considerations, identification of contraindications, and risk management—particularly in anatomically sensitive and high-risk regions.
The in-person portion of the seminar prioritizes hands-on skill development, with a structured progression of lecture, demonstration, and supervised lab practice.
Learning Objectives
