Course Description
Learn to efficiently and effectively assess and treat MSK/Pain/Orthopedic patients with the EXSTORE™ Orthopedic System.
This 3-day seminar is the most comprehensive seminar to date, covering intake, assessment, electro-needling of motor points,
and focused rehab exercises to improve function, treat pain, reduce rehabilitation time, and greatly improve clinical results.
Attendees will understand how to connect EXSTORE™ assessment to motor point selection and when to use specific electro-needling techniques, to get to the root of the patient’s pain and dysfunction. Participants will return to their clinics with an entirely new perspective on treating musculoskeletal conditions—resulting in improved outcomes and outstanding results.
The motor points taught in this seminar cover 95% of the functional, mechanical-related pain and functional conditions you will see in your office. This seminar also includes multiple demos on patients and volunteers with pain and dysfunction.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
- Analyze the limitations of orthopedic tests as indicated in the research
- Know how to classify patients as mechanical or chronic systemic and how it relates to treatment
- Apply the EXSTORE™ Assessment scan to utilize orthopedic tests correctly
- Apply findings of the EXSTORE scan clinically
- Perform complete EXSTORE assessment & analyze results for determining treatment
- Apply treatment understanding important concepts such as noxious stimuli, motor points & inhibition, and the 4 types of pain
- Perform six different electro-dry needling protocols including needling and stimulation of 40 motor points, 2-needle technique, and in-line technique through lecture, demonstrations, and labs
- Apply soft tissue with specific purpose of supporting the dry needling
- Analyze basic gait analysis & tie it to overall assessment, the EXSTORE scan, and treatment
- Set a treatment plan using the techniques learned in the seminar
