Assessment and Treatment of Upper and Lower Extremity Orthopedic Conditions, with Focus Group Patient Treatments
This seminar will be unlike any Orthopedic seminar you have ever attended. The first two days we cover how to assess and treat the most common upper and lower extremity conditions. This includes lecture, demos, and hands-on practice. The third day, attendees break into groups and assess, treat, and then reassess patients. These patients are unscripted and are obtained from the local community. Therefore, their chief complaints may or may not be extremity related. This will expand this seminar/workshop to include treating even more conditions and it will be an accurate replication of the real-world clinic. Patients will be made up mostly of CrossFit members of the gym where the seminar is at. Anthony and his assistants will be available for guidance and help during these exercises.
After assessing, treating, and reassessing the patients, the groups will present their patient to the class including the patient history, their findings on assessment, treatments provided, and what their treatment plan would be. This will allow for discussions and provide a great learning experience for everyone.
Special note on lunch breaks: Lunch will be provided. Due to the amount of content in this seminar, lunch times occur during live patient demonstrations.
Pre-requisite: It is recommended you know and have used the EXSTORE System prior to this seminar, either online or in-person.
