Course Focus

High-precision soft tissue release protocols for athletes; clinical application with real patients;
integration with needling when appropriate.

Course Overview

This 2-day intensive is designed to train clinicians in 25–30 highly effective myofascial release
protocols specifically engineered for athletic populations. These techniques target the most common
dysfunctional patterns seen in high-performance movement: adhesion, fascial locking, muscle inhibition,
chronic compensations, and post-load fatigue.

Day 1 – Technical Skill Acquisition (25 Protocols Minimum)

Participants will learn, drill, and refine 25+ myofascial soft-tissue protocols covering all major body
regions. The entire day is partner-based and focused on hands-on mastery.

Day 2 – Clinical Immersion & Real Patient Practicum

Day 2 simulates live clinical conditions including histories, orthopedic testing, functional screens,
patient rotations, and optional needling integration.

Patient rounds: Members of the CrossFit gym will come in for assessment & treatment.
Attendees will be in pairs or groups of 3 to assess and treat. Rounds 1 and 2 focus on applying soft
tissue techniques only, while Round 3 will bring in needling to help the practitioner learn how to combine
both techniques into a short, efficient treatment.

Practitioners will have approximately 25 minutes to work on each patient.

Learning Outcomes

  • Master 25–30 myofascial release protocols
  • Deliver myofascial techniques with proper body mechanics
  • Understand how and when to use manual therapy treatment
  • Develop high-level palpation accuracy & tissue discrimination
  • Perform clinical decision making in real scenarios
  • Integrate soft-tissue release with needling when appropriate
  • Improve athletic recovery, movement quality, and performance
